Basic setups start at $100
My hourly bench rate is $60 / hr.
Full custom builds include your choice of all parts

A basic 6 string electric guitar setup, or 4 string Bass guitar setup includes:
Truss rod adjustment, string action height, basic fretboard cleaning, intonation, string change (labor only, strings not included).
With a 12 string electric, 6 string acoustic, 6 string electric with Floyd Rose, or unusual instruments, there is an additional $20 charge on top of the basic setup.
For electric guitars with complex tremolo systems, unique necks, extra fragile equipment, or for 12 string acoustic guitars, there is an additional $50 charge on top of the basic setup.
I offer full wiring jobs at a separate fee from a setup. These usually land around $100-$150 (not including the cost of parts) but can depend on the complexity of the wiring and instrument.
I also would be happy to take a look at the circuits on broken guitar pedals or other gear that is in need of repair. However, I do not currently work on amplifiers.
My custom builds can really be anything your heart desires. Some of the most famous musicians played a “partscaster” where you start with a guitar shape like a tele or strat and build it from the ground up to your custom specs. Think custom pickup choices, upgraded pots and electronics, your choice of neck and fretboard materials and custom color schemes. It’s the best way to get exactly what you want at a reasonable cost.
